Natalie's 3rd b-day party yesterday!

Daddies just do things differently...that doesn't make it wrong... just DIFFERENT! LOL!

Chris couldn't understand why I didn't want him to encourage Sophia putting herself in her shopping cart. Instead of taking her out, he decided that it would be so much more fun for both of them if he just wheeled her around. They were both loving it and Sophia thought she was pretty hysterical (which, of course, she is). I just love to watch them together. 

I can't believe how fast this whole thing is going. it's bittersweet! :( I feel like it was just yesterday that Sophia was a tiny little baby trying to suck on my chin (so cute) and now she is a real kid--with a great personality, a funny sense of humor, her own likes and dislikes. It's just amazing... and to everyone who told me, "It goes by so fast!"---I really never thought it would be THIS fast!

yesterday we went down to visit my cousin, Heather and her 2 girls and my BFF, Kelly and her 2 girls! Sophia had an absolute ball and I loved seeing all the girls! and I love being "Aunt Melissa" to all of them! :)

What a great day for a wagon ride!

I truly love the area we live in, especially this time of year. It's so quiet and pretty! We took Sophia for a wagon ride and of course she loved it. we walked up the street and were looking at the bay and ocean and the beautiful NYC skyline. 

I don't care what they say...NJ is awesome! :)

Part 2--she hit her face again last night...

in the EXACT SAME SPOT! :(   She was on the couch and hit her face on the corner of one of her fake food containers. She is one wild, daredevil chipmunk!

Sophia vs. the crib! The crib won.

Sophia was fighting me while I was putting her pjs on. She started playing with the drawer under the crib, pulling it out and pushing it in. well, she lost her balance and landed face first on the corner of the crib! :( after a lot of blood we were left with a cut and a bruise! Pray it doesn't scar. Our poor baby. ouch!
