Sophia vs. the crib! The crib won.
Sophia was fighting me while I was putting her pjs on. She started playing with the drawer under the crib, pulling it out and pushing it in. well, she lost her balance and landed face first on the corner of the crib! :( after a lot of blood we were left with a cut and a bruise! Pray it doesn't scar. Our poor baby. ouch!

Sophia's new table and chairs.
Today Sophia "helped" Chris put her new table and chairs together. We got the "primary color" set because we already have Sophia's PBK stove in red and will be getting the other appliances for Christmas and her birthday... the pastel table and chairs set would have clashed! ;)
"Here's a green seat daddy!" She was hysterical, she would move the pieces away as Chris was trying to work on them.
Ahhh, the finished product! Looks great! Never thought our house would be so over-run with kid's STUFF!

Also, never thought I'd have a kid wearing character clothes. Oh well, at least Ariel is a freakin' princess for God's sake! ;)

In other news, Rebecca, Sophia's babysitter is coming tonight to watch Sophia. I actually get to go on a date with my husband!!!! Congratulations to Rebecca on getting her driver's license. I told her that I think I'm more excited about it than she is! ;)

A kid, a box and some crayons! Does it get any better?
Why do we buy her toys? She gets so much pleasure out of a cardboard box and some WASHABLE crayons and markers! whoever invented these washables is a genius!
Seriously-- A GENIUS!!! I am eternally grateful!
Cardboard boxes are fun!

Hard at work!

Look what FedEx delivered! Can we keep her?

We also had Sophia's well-visit today. She is doing great, although still not saying a whole lot. ;) She is 23.5 lbs (25th percentile) and 33 inches long (almost at the 75th percentile). our next well-visit will be when Sophia turns 2!!!! I can't even believe it, the time has gone so fast!!! I told Chris the other day, "Our baby is gone, now we have a kid!"

Sophia playing with her new stove!
So we recently went into a local toy store to update Sophia's toys--she was getting bored with what she had. There is a PBK next door to the toy store, so we went in.
Sophia was having such a great time playing with the stove at PBK. So much so, that when it was time to leave she pitched a holy fit and was screaming her head off because she didn't want to leave the stove. Well, as most of you know, Sophia has Chris wrapped around her little finger (so cute)... needless to say, we left PBK with the stove! LOL!
I think next time we're in a jewelry store I need to pitch a holy fit and see what happens! ;)
Sophia and her beloved red stove. also note her new tea set!
playing so hard!
Who say's "Flashdance" is dead????

"SURPRISE!!!!!"
Here's to you! Cheers, Gina! Thanks for being the best SIL that I could ever ask for!
