for those that don't speak Sophia-ese....that would be "My Daddy is with a cowboy!" LOL chris had been away in texas for work for a few days and one of the people he met with is a real-live cowboy...spurs, big hat, handlebar mustache...the real deal! well..sophia is now obsessed with cowboys! LOL

the kicker is... the PINK cowboy hat that Chris got for her while he was away! we are sooo glad he's back home! :) it's been a long 4 days without Daddy around!

SNOW DAY! and a quote from Sophia too.

First for Sophia's memorable quote, which came last night. Sophia was all dressed up in her princess outfit and dancing around the living room. Chris and I were sitting on the couch watching her. Then suddenly she stops dancing and says, with all the seriousness she has, "I a pincess and I don't need a prince. I have my Daddy!" Good GIRL, Sophia! My independent little princess! now let's pray this "I don't need a man" attitude stays. don't get me wrong....it's wonderful to find your prince but why settle in the meantime? ;)

now--for Sophia's snowy day. despite all the time to get snowday ready, the outing lasts about 10 minutes. lol then comes the "Mommy, I told, let's do in now...I all done!" :)

no better reward after the dentist than....

Sophia's first trip to the dentist was a SURPRISING SUCCESS!!!

and we're having a HEALTHY baby girl! :)

when I told Sophia that she was right, the baby is a girl, she said, "I know!" gotta love a 3 year olds intuition.

we thought we had a name but after such mixed reviews on it, I think Chris is iffy now and wants to get some more names together! grrrrr! I've learned a lesson though, don't share your baby name before baby comes. people think it's their job to make alternate name suggestions....annoying!

Our Fancy Sophia and some baby #2 news!

So here is our "Fancy Sophia" in her new "Fancy Nancy" birthday tutu set! she's so posh! :)

in other news, I had my CVS test last week (mon the 18th) so we are in the grueling waiting period for the results, which can take up to 2 weeks! UGH! both the tech and the doctor think #2 is a girl.

we have decided on the name Margaux Maria. Margaux because we love it (with the traditional spelling) and Maria after my mother-in-law.

eeeeek! another little princess! we seriously couldn't be more excited! I am terrified of having 2 kids and it seems #2 is as active as Sophia was by the u/s so that could prove to be very exhausting to all of us. lol

now---onto names! this is so hard. S put in her suggestion...."Princess Fruit Snack!" guess baby will be the only Princess Fruit Snack in her class! ;)

S also told me all the things she will teach the baby. "Play-doh, how to jump, I hit da baby in da head wif my elbow" while motioning her elbow up and down. um, yeah, this is going to be one WILD ride!
